This paradox raises concerns about the effectiveness, efficiency, and dynamic impact of different forms of investment on real gross domestic product (GDP). In the present study, real GDP was used as the dependent variable, while private investment, public investment, real interest rate, political stability, labour force participation, balance of trade, and inflation served as explanatory variables. The ARDL bounds test was applied to determine long-run relationships, and an Error Correction Model estimated short-run dynamics where cointegration existed. Stationarity was tested using the Augmented Dickey–Fuller test, while diagnostic tests ensured model reliability. Annual data from 1994–2023 were sourced from official databases and analyzed using EViews 10. The results indicated wide variation among Nigeria’s macroeconomic variables between 1994 and 2023. Inflation averaged 16.64% (max 72.84%), real interest rate averaged 3.54% (min –31.45%), and private investment averaged ₦9,001.31 billion, showing relative stability. Unit root tests revealed a mix of I(0) and I(1) variables, validating the ARDL method. The bounds test confirmed long-run relationships (F = 39.46 > 3.18). Long-run estimates showed private investment significantly increased GDP (4.55, p<0.01), while labour force participation (0.45) and balance of trade (0.64) were positive; inflation reduced growth (–0.05). Short-run results showed negative effects from private investment (–0.15) and inflation (–0.0013), with a 5% adjustment speed to equilibrium. The study concludes that policies aimed at improving the efficiency of public investment and strengthening the private sector investment climate are critical for sustaining long-term economic growth in Nigeria.
Ifeoma Florence Okpalanwabude, Emilia Mukaosolu Mgbemena, Chibuike R. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, and F-test. The results show that work discipline significantly influences employee performance, indicated by a t value greater than the t-table and a significance level below 0.05. The physical work environment also has a significant positive effect. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant impact on employee performance, as shown by the F value exceeding the F-table with a significance level below 0.05. Novelty/value – The novelty of this study lies in highlighting how maintaining employee discipline and optimizing the physical work environment simultaneously improve performance, providing empirical evidence from a private technology company in West Jakarta.
Selviana Indiani, Eka Rahim Copyright (c) 2025 https://ojs.ideanusa.com/index.php/idea/article/view/380 Mon, 01 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0700 The Influence of Store Atmosphere and Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction https://ojs.ideanusa.com/index.php/idea/article/view/381
The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of store atmosphere and service quality on customer satisfaction at Domino’s Pizza Bintaro Kesehatan branch in South Jakarta.

Methodology/approach – This type of research uses associative research with a quantitative approach. The population in this research amounts to 22,540 consumers and the sampling technique uses the Slovin formula, sample of 100 respondents with data collection technique using a questionnaire. Data analysis includes validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient analysis, and hypothesis testing. Findings – The results of this study indicate that store atmosphere (X1) has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction. Service quality (X2) has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction (Y). The study aims to determine whether profitability and leverage provide significant signals to investors and how these financial ratios influence the company’s market value over time. Methodology/approach – This research uses a quantitative method with a causal associative approach. According to Sugiyono (2018:65), a causal associative approach examines the relationship between two or more variables, where the relationship is characterized by cause and effect. In this study, the independent variables (ROE and DER) act as the influencing factors, while the dependent variable (stock price) serves as the factor being influenced. Findings – It The findings of this study indicate that Return on Equity (ROE) has a significant partial effect on the stock price of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk during the 2014–2024 period, as shown by a t-value of 3.491 and a significance level of 0.008 < 0.05. This result suggests that higher profitability provides a positive signal to investors, thereby increasing the company’s stock price. Novelty/value – This study provides novelty by analyzing the long-term impact of Return on Equity (ROE) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on stock prices over an extended period of eleven years (2014–2024), focusing on PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, a state-owned enterprise in the construction sector.
Lusia Marleni Halek, Eka Rahim Copyright (c) 2025 https://ojs.ideanusa.com/index.php/idea/article/view/385 Mon, 01 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0700
