Idea Abdimas Journal

Idea Abdimas Journal is a scientific multidisciplinary journal is a six-monthly journal concerned with the practice and processes of community engagement. It provides a forum for academics, practitioners and community representatives to explore issues and reflect on practices relating to the full range of engaged activity. This journal is a peer-reviewed online journal dedicated to the publication of high quality research focused on research, implementation, of policy about community engagement. The purpose of this journal publication is to disseminate conceptual thinking or research ideas and results that have been achieved in the field of community service. Community Engagement means community development, community services, community empowerment, community outreach, and action research.

Idea Abdimas Journal  is a journal published by Darmaguna IDEA Nusantara Foundation. IAJ began to appear in November 2022 that is Vol. 1 No. 1 the year 2022, Issuance of print and online IAJ  in one volume we publish 3 (three), published four months, November, Maret, Juli in accordance with SK BRIN ISSN Print No.: 29646111/II.7.4/SK.ISSN/12/2022 and SK BRIN ISSN Online No.:  29632331/II.7.4/SK.ISSN/12/2022. IAJ is consistent with the SK BRIN  (National Research and Innovation Agency) which is 3 issues with 10 articles published.

     
Idea Abdimas Journal review process uses double-blind peer-review, which means that the identity of the reviewer and author is hidden from the reviewer, and vice versa.

Focus and Scope of Idea Abdimas Journal is a scientific multidisciplinary journal is on community engagement program and the manuscript is about applied science in community to advance theories, research and practices related to all forms of outreach and engagement. Community engagement means services to society, applying science and technology based on their field, increasing the capacity of society and community empowerment.

The journal draws on existing issues from those varieties of field. This includes highlighting innovation of community empowerment, and reporting on engaged research, community-based research, action research, and community services, as well as improving the knowledge and practice in the field of purposive community engagement.

Idea Abdimas Journal has become a CrossRef Member since the year 2024. Therefore, all articles published by IAJ will have unique DOI number.
