Pendidikan Karakter Pada Remaja Dalam Mempersiapkan SDM Unggul di Lingkungan RW 04 Cilandak Timur
Abstract
The purpose of this activity is to find out whether teenagers in RW 04 Kelurahan Cilandak Timur have ever received knowledge related to character education. The background to this activity is because in this day and age Character Education is very important for the younger generation, because the younger generation will become a benchmark for the success of nation building. As the successor of the nation, it is hoped that the younger generation can set an example both in attitude and behavior. The younger generation must not only be intellectually smart, but also must be smart and morally intelligent. Therefore the functions of Character Education must be carried out from an early age so that it will produce optimal results, to develop the basic potential in humans so that they become individuals who have good insight, good heart and good behavior, to build and strengthen the behavior of a multicultural society and to build and improve the nation's competitive civilization. This should be the concern of parents where it is necessary to hold counseling about this, especially in this day and age. Solutions to the problems offered in dealing with the superior problems above are providing knowledge related to the importance of character education, assisting in self-awareness in knowing individual character and providing material to create human resources, through: (1) Efforts to foster character building from an early age, (2) Development Strategy HR in the community, (3) Efforts to increase changes in adolescent behavior
